Manager, Group Communications

About the role

The Manager, Group Communications will develop and execute ESR's integrated internal and external communications strategy across the Asia‑Pacific region. Working closely with senior leadership, the role enhances corporate reputation, drives employee engagement and supports strategic transactions, capital initiatives and investor relations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to shape ESR’s strategic narrative and strengthen its corporate reputation.
• Build and maintain ESR’s media profile through proactive media relations and a thought‑leadership pipeline.
• Develop integrated communications strategies, messaging and leadership toolkits for strategic transactions and capital initiatives.
• Design and execute employee communications across intranet, newsletters and video content to boost engagement and culture.
• Support internal and external events such as leadership forums, town halls, investor meetings and industry conferences.
• Manage media monitoring, reputational risk assessment and crisis response coordination.
• Collaborate with HR, Investor Relations, ESG and other functions to tailor communications for diverse regional audiences.
• Leverage AI‑enabled tools and emerging technologies to create data‑driven communications content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• 8‑10 years of corporate communications or public relations experience, preferably in real estate, infrastructure or financial services.
• Proven track record developing and executing integrated internal and external communications strategies at a regional or global level.
• Strong writing, editing and storytelling abilities with experience translating complex business topics.
• Experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and supporting leadership communications.
• Familiarity with media relations, reputation management, crisis communications and digital/social media best practices.
