Manager, IO and Mixed Signal Design

About the role

Broadcom is looking for a Manager of IO and Mixed Signal Design to lead and manage a team of highly skilled electrical engineers. The role oversees the development, design and testing of a wide range of IOs and analog mixed signal IP, meeting the highest quality and performance standards. It is a senior leadership position requiring a strong technical background, project management skills and the ability to mentor engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of electrical engineers, provide guidance and mentorship, and foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Oversee the planning, execution and delivery of IO and mixed-signal projects on time and to a high standard.
• Stay current with IO, ESD and latch-up standards and guide the team technically; troubleshoot complex issues.
• Lead the design and development of complex IP for diverse applications across Broadcom's business units and customers, from high-speed to high-voltage.
• Ensure designs meet strict quality standards so that silicon comes up first time, and continuously improve quality control, verification efficiency and design practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams worldwide, including marketing, design and FA, and interact directly with external customers to integrate IP into their products.
• Manage resources efficiently and maintain accurate documentation for internal and external users while protecting Broadcom IP.
