Manager (MediShield Life/CareShield Life Premium Recovery)

About the role

IRAS is recruiting a manager for its MediShield Life and CareShield Life premium recovery function. As a tax professional, you will use your knowledge to help build a community of voluntary compliance, communicating and negotiating with insureds to reach agreements and shifting their mindset towards paying premiums.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and negotiate with insureds to reach an agreement, influencing a shift towards voluntary compliance
• Take part in projects using data analysis, technology, agile principles, behavioural insights and design to improve work processes, service delivery and voluntary compliance
• Assist insureds by telephone or in writing
• Review and analyse cases in depth to take effective enforcement action against insureds who have not paid their premiums
• Support managers and supervisors on technical, systems and procedural issues arising from complex situations

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline
• Experience in customer service
• Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to question, probe and analyse
• Organised and systematic in handling data
• Resourceful, able to work independently in a team environment
