Manager, Risk Management - Cigna Healthcare

About the role

This role reports to and supports the Chief Risk Officer in developing, implementing and continuously improving the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework for the Cigna Healthcare Singapore branch. It partners with business leaders, control functions and risk teams across markets to strengthen risk culture, ensure effective governance and enable proactive risk identification, assessment, mitigation and reporting, with oversight over all risk matters including operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Support the CRO in building and maintaining the ERM framework, calibrate risk appetite and drive identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting of key risks
• Coordinate Operational Loss and Near Miss reporting, maintain risk registers on the OnSpring platform and prepare dashboards, reports and presentations for senior leadership
• Oversee the Operations Level 3 risk registers, challenge operational risk remediation plans independently and maintain operational risk templates
• Work with Third Party Management and Business Continuity Planning on oversight of outsourcing governance and business continuity
• Prepare materials for Risk Forums and governance committees, document meeting outcomes and track follow-ups
• Partner with Compliance, Internal Audit, Data Privacy and Information Protection, and with international and regional risk teams to close control gaps and share risk information across regions
• Promote a strong second-line risk culture, deliver training and communicate on risk tools and best practices
• Contribute to ERM improvement initiatives, risk working groups and risk management projects, and perform ad hoc duties

Required profile

• At least 7 years of experience in risk management, audit, compliance or related fields; insurance or financial services preferred
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Professional certifications such as CRMP, FRM, CERA or CIA preferred
