Manager, Sales Field Enablement (APJ)

About the role

The APJ Sales Enablement Team empowers Sales and Customer Success teams with the right information, skills, and tools to drive Datadog’s growth across the region. We are looking for a player‑coach to deliver key enablement programs and lead a team of regional Sales Field Enablement Managers.

Key responsibilities

• Build, lead, and empower a high‑performing team of Sales Field Enablement Managers delivering world‑class programs.
• Provide live and virtual sales onboarding and ongoing training for sellers and sales leaders.
• Partner with the global team to evolve field listening methodology and integrate regional insights.
• Synthesize field listening and performance data with Strategic Operations to shape enablement strategy.
• Deliver on‑the‑spot training, coaching, and workshops as needed.
• Act as a strategic thought partner to sales leaders, championing enablement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales enablement, L&D or equivalent teaching roles.
• At least 1 year managing direct reports in a complex, ambiguous environment.
• High emotional intelligence, strong listening skills and openness to feedback.
• Agile mindset with ability to iterate and build minimum viable products.
• Strong ownership mindset focused on maximizing salesperson potential.
• Willingness to travel up to 25 % of the time.

Required skills

• Experience with enablement platforms such as Gong, Docebo or MindTickle.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies like MEDDIC and Command of the Message.
• Knowledge of DevOps or cloud technologies.
