Manager / Senior Manager, Digital Identity and Document Attestation

About the role

Digital Utilities are foundational digital services provided by the Government, enabling citizens and businesses to transact securely in the digital economy, including digital ID, payments, data exchange and document attestation. As part of the Enterprise Transformation and Innovation Group in IMDA, the Digital Identity and Document Attestation Division is looking for a Manager or Senior Manager to drive adoption of existing Digital Utilities and develop new ones, such as Verifiable Credentials, that give Singapore enterprises a competitive edge.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct domestic and international studies, analyse opportunities and develop strategies to drive adoption of digital identity and document attestation products, and enhance them using technologies such as Verifiable Credentials and Digital Wallets.
• Engage private and public sector stakeholders to understand the technical and business requirements for cross-border use cases that improve interoperability.
• Collaborate with internal IMDA divisions, government agencies and industry partners to align domestic and international strategy, positioning and go-to-market approaches for cross-border interoperability.

Required profile

• At least 5-7 years of experience, preferably in public policy making and/or product management in technology-related fields.
• Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and ability to navigate uncertainty in greenfield areas.
• Good understanding of enterprise needs, the tech sector, the macro-economic landscape, technology trends and public policy and administration.
• Outcome-driven, comfortable with complexity, adaptable and proactive, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with sound project management skills.
• Excellent writing, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
