Manager, Site Start Up APAC

About the role

Precision for Medicine is seeking a Manager, Site Start Up APAC to lead and develop its Site Start‑Up (SSU) team across the region. The role combines people leadership with deep expertise in clinical trial site activation, ensuring high‑quality delivery and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, mentor, manage and coach SSU personnel to maintain Precision’s quality standards.
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to oversee task execution and career development.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for site start‑up activities and ensure compliance with SOPs, regulatory requirements and project plans.
• Provide resources, training, and system access needed for team success.
• Lead interview processes, onboarding, and performance reviews for SSU staff.
• Design and enforce robust standards and processes for consistent execution.
• Allocate FTEs per project, monitor budget alignment, and adjust staffing as needed.
• Facilitate department meetings, internal initiatives, and other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 6 years of clinical research experience with extensive site start‑up exposure.
• Proven line‑management and leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process.
