About the role
The Manager, Web Projects and Digital Experience will lead the delivery and continuous improvement of NTU’s corporate web estate and digital communications. This role sits at the intersection of project management, digital experience, and web technology, translating university objectives into engaging online experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end web and digital projects from planning through post‑implementation support, ensuring scope, timeline and budget compliance.
- Manage project governance, including plans, milestones, risks, issues, change requests and reporting.
- Translate business, communications and marketing goals into clear requirements, user stories and functional specifications.
- Oversee internal and external delivery partners, ensuring deliverables, service levels and contractual commitments are met.
- Drive digital experience optimisation using UX, information architecture, audience segmentation and conversion principles.
- Enhance inbound digital performance (SEO, AEO, GEO), landing‑page effectiveness, lead generation and web analytics.
- Maintain web quality, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), performance, design consistency and navigation standards.
- Use data and user insights to prioritise enhancements and inform continuous improvement.
- Strengthen web governance, publishing workflows, quality assurance and transition of projects to business‑as‑usual operations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Communications, Digital Media, Marketing or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience managing end‑to‑end website and digital projects, including redesigns, replatforming and content migration.
- Proven ability to manage vendors, agencies and multiple stakeholders in a complex organisation.
- Strong understanding of inbound marketing, SEO, audience journeys, conversion optimisation and web analytics.
- Working knowledge of CMS platforms such as Sitefinity, Sitecore, Drupal, WordPress or Adobe Experience Manager.
- Good grasp of UX, accessibility standards and web quality metrics.
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Project‑management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master) is an advantage.
- Experience in higher education or large public‑sector organisations is preferred.
