Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will support moderately complex projects, following an individual work plan and meeting short‑term objectives. The role requires quick issue resolution and short‑term planning to ensure production targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Create work orders based on sales orders.
• Review and interpret customer specifications such as BOMs and DBI.
• Understand and apply all required machining processes.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, sales, marketing and support teams to achieve QHSE, production, cost‑saving and new‑product development goals within schedule and budget.
• Document engineering designs and technical data accurately for future reference and customer requirements.
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes, record process changes, and drive improvements in fixtures, lead time, cycle time, cost reduction and QHSE actions.
• Optimize manpower and machine resources for production, repair, overhaul and service jobs.
• Design fixtures and tooling to support manufacturing and process enhancements.
• Participate in HSE initiatives to improve safety in the work area.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental regulations.

• Effective communication and collaboration across multiple functional teams.
