Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a clean‑room environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role supports the production of semiconductor and advanced display technologies that power AI and next‑generation chips.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair or test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability and inspect for defects, improving processes as needed.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies and components.
• Document progress, labor and expense details; execute computer programming, software installs or repairs when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum).
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Associate’s degree or technical certifications (preferred).

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly.
• Troubleshooting and repair of electronic, vacuum and pneumatic systems.
• Operation of test fixtures, electronic measurement devices, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Basic computer programming and software installation.
• Data entry and documentation of work activities.
