Manufacturing Technician

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role involves assembling electro‑mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic and electronic components and ensuring they meet strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to assemble, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify functionality of sub‑assemblies.
• Document progress, labor and expense data on computer terminals and report safety incidents promptly.
• Receive parts, audit inventory and inspect components for defects before use.

Required profile

• Ability to apply analytical methods and scientific principles to solve technical problems.
• Good understanding of how the manufacturing team integrates with other functions.
• Capability to recognize and resolve typical issues independently, following established procedures.
• Strong communication skills for clear exchange of technical information.
