Manufacturing Technician – Shift Work

About the role

As a Manufacturing Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer fabrication equipment. The role involves electro‑mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, and ensuring parts are available and defect‑free.

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies using work orders, schematics and parts lists.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs under supervision.
• Conduct audits to verify part availability, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to validate assemblies and sub‑assemblies.
• Document progress, labor details and perform computer programming, software installs or repairs as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical certificate; basic analytical or scientific method skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Up to 1 year of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience (preferred).
• Technical education, certifications or training and familiarity with quality guidelines (preferred).
