Manufacturing Test Technician – Cleanroom (MDP MF)

About the role

The Manufacturing Test Technician works hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The role supports the production of semiconductor and advanced display technologies that power AI and next‑generation chips. You will use a variety of tools and documentation to ensure equipment meets strict quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists to build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits, inspect for defects and suggest process improvements.
• Test assemblies with fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps, and document results.
• Complete required job documentation, including data entry, labor details and, when needed, computer programming, software installs or repairs.

Required profile

• High school diploma (minimum).
• 1–2 years of experience in semiconductor or display manufacturing, or comparable industry/military experience.
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.

Required skills

• Electro‑mechanical assembly.
• Troubleshooting of electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic systems.
• Use of test fixtures and electronic measurement equipment.
• Leak detection and vacuum pump operation.
• Computer programming, software installation and repair.
• Interpretation of schematics, wiring diagrams and parts lists.
