Manufacturing Test Technician – Cleanroom (Singapore)

About the role

As a Manufacturing Test Technician you will work hands‑on in a cleanroom environment building, repairing and testing multimillion‑dollar display and wafer‑fabrication equipment. The position supports the development of semiconductor and advanced‑display technologies used worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Use work orders, schematics and parts lists to build, repair and test electrical, electro‑mechanical, vacuum and pneumatic assemblies.
• Perform electro‑mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repairs under moderate supervision.
• Receive parts, conduct audits for availability and defect inspection, and suggest process improvements.
• Operate test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors and vacuum pumps to verify assemblies and components.
• Complete job documentation, record labor and expense data, and execute computer programming, software installs or repairs when required.

Required profile

• High school diploma with 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience (or comparable industry/military background).
• Ability to follow written and verbal standard operating procedures and use basic hand tools.
• Associate’s degree or technical certifications are preferred, along with a willingness to expand analytical and problem‑solving skills.
