Market Risk Manager

About the role

Coinhako is looking for a Market Risk Manager to strengthen its risk capabilities across Spot, Derivatives and yield-based products. You will work closely with trading and product teams to identify, assess and manage market risks, and help build scalable risk frameworks as the business grows.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage market risks across Spot and Derivatives products
• Assess risks in new and existing products, covering pricing, volatility, liquidity and counterparty exposure
• Develop and enhance risk frameworks, limits and monitoring processes
• Conduct stress testing and scenario analysis to assess potential market risks
• Partner with Trading, Product and Engineering to embed risk controls
• Provide risk insights to senior management
• Grow into Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), contribute to firm-wide risk governance and strategic risk decisions, and move toward a broader risk leadership role

Required profile

• Experience in market risk, trading risk or financial risk
• Strong understanding of Spot and Derivatives markets
• Exposure to options, structured products, earn/yield products, or one of these areas
• Ability to assess volatility, liquidity and counterparty risks
• Nice to have: hands-on data skills (Excel; Python/SQL a plus), crypto or digital assets experience, familiarity with options or non-linear products, ERM exposure, and a background in quantitative methods such as VaR and stress testing
