Marketing Communications Manager – APAC Thought Leadership

About the role

Monks is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to lead thought‑leadership and content development across the APAC region. The role sits at the intersection of PR, content, and marketing, shaping narratives that position the company as a leader in marketing, technology, and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the creation of thought‑leadership content, including articles, opinion pieces, LinkedIn posts, and executive narratives.
• Translate complex industry topics such as AI, commerce, social, content, and technology into clear, engaging content.
• Support award strategy and submissions for Cannes Lions, Campaign Asia Awards, Spikes Asia, Effies, and other industry recognitions.
• Coordinate timelines, submissions, and collaboration with regional and global teams.
• Work with the events team to maximize event impact and repurpose event material into social content, articles, PR stories, case studies, and internal materials.
• Amplify key moments and maintain a consistent, credible brand voice across APAC.

Required profile

• Strong writing and editing skills with experience producing articles, opinion pieces, and executive narratives.
• Ability to distill complex ideas into concise, compelling content.
• Experience managing award submissions and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Proactive collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.
