Marketing & Specification Manager – Construction Products

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Sales, the Marketing & Specification Manager will drive product adoption in the construction and built‑environment sectors. The role focuses on securing product specifications and approvals at the concept and design stages and guiding projects through the pipeline to conversion.

Key responsibilities

• Engage architects, consultants, developers, contractors and regulatory bodies to obtain early‑stage product specifications and approvals.
• Maintain and monitor an active project pipeline to maximise conversion from specification to project delivery.
• Conduct market research, track industry trends and competitor activity, and provide insights to R&D for product innovation and pricing.
• Represent the company at technical seminars, trade shows and industry exhibitions to boost brand visibility.
• Develop strategic plans to address market demand, counter competitive threats and set product benchmarking standards.
• Report on project status and achieve assigned specification performance targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Structural, Building, Civil, Construction Engineering, Architecture or a related field.
• Proven experience in product or system specification within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of South‑East Asian construction practices, regulations and design compliance.
• Established network of architectural and consultancy contacts.
• Self‑motivated, collaborative, with own vehicle and willingness to travel for site visits.
