Master Scheduler

About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials science and engineering solutions for semiconductor and display manufacturing. The Master Scheduler will support the planning and execution of product and test strategies worldwide, ensuring accurate schedules, capacity analysis and demand integrity. This full‑time position is based in Singapore and works closely with engineering, manufacturing, marketing and supply chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain master scheduling and slotting reports, run metrics and establish measurements for new processes.
• Manage order pull‑in/push‑out activities, including capacity constraint analysis and scenario planning using Rapid Response software.
• Create and manage global milestone routings and unique NPI routings, chairing quarterly alignment meetings.
• Initiate demand in MRP, monitor accuracy, resolve engineering change orders and data integrity issues.
• Coordinate with marketing and SAP to ensure correct sales order setup and develop slotting methodology.
• Lead schedule transitions between pilot, volume and multiple plants, optimizing build plans with BMO directors.

• Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in scheduling discipline and basic knowledge of related areas.
• Understands best practices, integrates with cross‑functional teams and is aware of market competition.
• Acts as a resource for less‑experienced colleagues and can lead small projects.
• Solves complex problems using judgment from multiple information sources.

Required skills

• Rapid Response software for scenario planning.
• SAP and MRP systems.
• OFR (forecasting) and CAPCODE/TND logic.
• ZMAT material creation within VC.
