About the role

The Materials Project Manager will drive material innovation, support product development, and ensure seamless supply chain execution for cutting‑edge semiconductor and display technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast and communicate engineering, materials, and manufacturing requirements to suppliers.
• Perform make‑versus‑buy analysis to inform outsourcing decisions.
• Coordinate demand signals through MRP to minimize inventory exposure.
• Lead the Materials Core Team and manage product development deliverables across buyers, planners, and production control.
• Collaborate with engineering to interpret requirements and develop new material strategies.
• Assist in supplier price and delivery negotiations and, when authorized, negotiate contracts.
• Execute supplier selection, risk assessment, and performance monitoring.
• Manage materials change control, cost objectives, and quality issue resolution.
• Generate and publish key process indicators and track total landed cost targets.
