Math Tutor (Primary & Secondary Levels) – Part‑Time

About the role

The Math Lab is hiring part‑time Math Tutors to deliver 1‑1 home tuition and centre‑based classes for Primary 1‑6 and Secondary 1‑4 students. You will join a fun, enthusiastic team of math‑nerds and help students achieve strong academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Math lessons to Primary and Secondary students in both centre‑based classes and home tuition sessions.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to the Singapore Math curriculum.
• Communicate monthly progress reports to parents and collaborate with fellow teachers for bootcamps.
• Manage classroom discipline and monitor student progress regularly.
• Travel to students’ residences for 1‑1 tuition as assigned.

Required profile

• Familiarity with the Singapore Math curriculum.
• At least 1–2 years of private tutoring or math teaching experience (preferred).
• Enjoy working with younger children and fostering their academic growth.
• Degree or Diploma in any major (preferred).
• For part‑time roles: able to commit at least 6 hours per week (minimum 3 lessons).
• Singapore citizen or permanent resident.

What we offer

• Part‑time hourly rate of SGD 40–70, based on experience and student load.
• Employer CPF contributions.
• Probation period of two months with hourly pay of SGD 40–70.
