M&E Coordinator

About the role

The M&E Coordinator will oversee mechanical and electrical works across construction projects, ensuring seamless execution and compliance with design and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise M&E works to ensure smooth project execution.
• Liaise with M&E consultants on design, technical matters, and coordination issues.
• Ensure all M&E and building services requirements are met in collaboration with the project team.
• Monitor work progress, quality of workmanship, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Identify and resolve interfacing issues between M&E services and building works.
• Coordinate with design consultants, client representatives, and statutory agencies to establish design deliverable requirements.
• Review design deliverables with consultants/engineers for completeness and readiness.
• Provide technical clarifications, develop method statements, and support project management and site supervision.
• Coordinate with contractors and consultants on engineering issues and drawing plans.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction supervision of M&E building services.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; specialist diploma in M&E coordination is a plus.
• Experience in coordination of transit projects using BIM and knowledge of design approval processes and BCA TOP requirements.
