M&E Drafter / BIM Modeller

About the role

Our client in the M&E engineering sector is looking for a motivated M&E Drafter and BIM Modeller to join their design team in Singapore. The role involves producing detailed mechanical and electrical drawings and supporting BIM workflows for building services projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update M&E drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit.
• Assist in BIM modelling for sanitary, plumbing and gas systems.
• Support engineers in developing design drawings based on project instructions.
• Prepare submission drawings for authorities such as PUB, City Gas and Sewerage.
• Coordinate drawing updates and revisions with engineers and team members.
• Maintain documentation and perform basic project coordination tasks.
• Participate in site visits when required.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1‑2 years of experience in M&E drafting or BIM modelling, preferably in a consultancy environment.
• Strong knowledge of M&E design principles, building services systems and Singapore codes and regulations.
• Experience with authority submissions (PUB, City Gas, etc.) is an advantage.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with BIM modelling for building services.
• Familiarity with E‑Corenet for submission processes.
