M&E Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The M&E Maintenance Supervisor will lead preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance activities for medium‑voltage ring main units (RMUs) and industrial burner‑related mechanical/electrical systems across Singapore customer sites. The role ensures safe execution under Permit‑to‑Work procedures, compliance with technical specifications, and proper documentation for client acceptance and billing.

Key responsibilities

• Attend customer sites for breakdown support, coordinate isolation, access and permits, and provide clear updates to clients.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance on 22 kV/6.6 kV RMUs, substation equipment, and associated oil handling activities.
• Supervise technicians and contractors, conduct toolbox briefings, allocate tasks and verify workmanship.
• Perform testing such as dielectric strength, insulation resistance and partial discharge, ensuring instruments are calibrated.
• Carry out preventive visits on burners and related controls, document conditions and recommend parts.
• Enforce safety procedures, produce service reports with photos and test results, and obtain customer sign‑off.
• Maintain tools, test equipment and PPE, manage spares and raise requisitions as needed.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITE in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Services/M&E or equivalent.
• Hands‑on maintenance experience with MV switchgear/RMUs, substation equipment, industrial M&E systems, controls, pumps or instrumentation.
• Ability to work safely in field environments and coordinate on‑call emergency response.
