Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator to lead the integration of M&E works with architectural and structural elements across construction projects in Singapore. The role ensures clash‑free designs, timely installation and compliance with codes and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate all M&E trades (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, ELV) with architectural and structural works, resolving design clashes.
• Review and align M&E, combined services and builder’s work drawings; support BIM coordination where required.
• Supervise site activities, monitor installation sequences, and conduct regular site walks to track progress.
• Manage M&E work schedules, track progress against the overall programme and assist in manpower and material planning.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications and QA/QC requirements; coordinate inspections and testing.
• Liaise with consultants and authorities such as BCA, SCDF and SP Group to obtain clearances.
• Support testing, commissioning and handover, preparing as‑built drawings and O&M manuals.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in building construction M&E coordination.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems, construction sequencing and Singapore codes and standards.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and coordination abilities.
