Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator – Main Contractor (General Building)

About the role

The Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator will oversee all M&E aspects of residential and commercial projects across Singapore. You will act as the primary liaison between contractors, consultants, and the project team to ensure seamless execution of sanitary, plumbing, ACMV, electrical, security, and lift works.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all mechanical and electrical works, including sanitary, plumbing, ACMV, electrical, security, and lift systems.
• Liaise with nominated and domestic contractors and consultants, producing regular progress reports.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that M&E works comply with design requirements and standards.
• Monitor work progress and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Read, review, and interpret M&E drawings and specifications.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (M&E) – preferred M&E certification.
• 2 to 4 years of relevant site experience in residential and commercial projects.

Required skills

• Knowledge of sanitary and plumbing systems.
• Experience with air‑conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) installations.
• Proficiency in electrical system coordination.
• Understanding of security and lift system integration.
• Ability to read and review M&E drawings.
