Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to oversee and coordinate mechanical and electrical (M&E) works across our projects in Singapore. The role involves liaising with main contractors, ensuring compliance with contract drawings, and preparing detailed reports to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with main contractors to plan and monitor M&E work progress and meet project deadlines.
• Supervise M&E works to ensure compliance with contract drawings and specifications.
• Prepare detailed correspondence reports recommending corrective actions or value‑added improvements.
• Maintain accurate daily work records, including documenting additional work claims from clients and sub‑contracts.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties to support project execution as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering with a background in M&E works.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in M&E systems within the construction industry.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Willingness to work 6 days per week and shifts during critical project phases.
