Mechanical Engineer (M&E Contractor)

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will support, manage and coordinate mechanical works and services for building construction projects with a well‑established M&E contractor. The role involves planning schedules, preparing progress reports and providing technical guidance to ensure project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support, manage and coordinate mechanical works and services for building construction projects.
• Plan, develop, and manage work schedules to ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Prepare progress reports for clients and project managers, detailing delays, defects, and necessary rectification measures.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve mechanical‑related issues efficiently.
• Report on mechanical progress and arrange site inspections with contractors, subcontractors, and clerk‑of‑works.

Required profile

• Minimum 1‑3 years of relevant experience with an M&E contractor.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Basic knowledge of project execution processes.
• Advanced knowledge of local code of practice for design implementation.
• Familiarity with local construction practices.
