Mechanical Engineer – Singapore

About the role

As a Mechanical Engineer you will leverage a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and materials science to resolve complex mechanical problems, design custom tooling, and support the handling, assembly, and disassembly of components throughout the product life cycle. You will be responsible for creating and modifying mechanical layouts, schematics, and specifications while overseeing manufacturing and installation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and troubleshoot difficult mechanical problems with limited supervision.
• Define, coordinate, perform and document engineering test reports.
• Develop, design, or modify mechanical engineering layouts, schematics, or drawings/specifications.
• Perform engineering analysis of complex scopes with limited supervision.
• Lead projects technically, develop key suppliers and generate mechanical product specifications.
• Design, develop and implement custom tooling, fixturing and associated processes, establishing standards across operations.
• Specify and review engineering documentation.
• Implement concepts for complex product issues and mechanical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 4‑7 years of relevant mechanical engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience with CAD software, thermodynamics, sheet‑metal design, material selection, manufacturing methods, GD&T, flow analysis and Design for Excellence principles.
