Mechanical Engineer – Training Provided (Junior)

About the role

Our client, a leading firm in the M&E engineering sector, is looking for a Junior Mechanical Engineer to join their dynamic team in Singapore. The role offers on‑the‑job training and exposure to a variety of mechanical systems, including HVAC, fire protection, and hydraulic services.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical tasks in line with corporate protocols and established work systems.
• Develop and communicate complex engineering solutions using solid design fundamentals.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients, contractors and partners.
• Perform advanced engineering calculations with industry‑standard software such as CFD and Full Hydraulic Calculation (FHC).
• Integrate architectural, structural and service engineering specifications into project designs.
• Conduct detailed investigations and technical reviews of engineering systems.
• Lead the creation of technical drawings, specifications, calculations and professional reports.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an engineering consultancy, preferably focused on ACMV, fire and hydraulic services.
• Project execution experience from a contractor perspective is a plus.
• Knowledge of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) or a background in sustainability, carbon reduction and renewable energy is advantageous.
