Memory Design Engineer

About the role

Ambiq is seeking an experienced Memory Design Engineer to join its ultra‑low‑power semiconductor team. You will contribute to the architecture, design, compiler development, characterization, and silicon validation of embedded memory blocks that power AI‑edge devices.

Key responsibilities

• Define and develop memory architecture concepts for next‑generation chips.
• Implement and optimize compiler tools that support memory features.
• Perform extensive characterization of memory performance, power, and reliability.
• Validate silicon prototypes and work closely with silicon validation teams to ensure design intent.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups including design, research, and production to drive technology improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in memory design and validation for semiconductor products.
• Self‑motivated, creative problem‑solver comfortable learning new technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment.
