Merchant Operations Intern

About the role

EPOS, part of Ant International's merchant payment services division Antom, is a Point-of-Sale digital solutions provider based in Singapore serving small and medium-sized businesses across Asia. It is looking for a hands-on, proactive IT Operational Support Intern to support the end-to-end process of hardware deployment, including system testing, on-site troubleshooting and other operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and test hardware such as POS systems, kiosks, printers, tablets and related devices for deployment.
• Assist with on-site deployment and installation at client locations, ensuring proper setup and configuration.
• Troubleshoot hardware and system issues during and after deployment.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather the resources and information needed for deployment.
• Help manage inventory, maintain documentation and support operational logistics.
• Provide general support to daily operational workflows.

Required profile

• Interest in IT systems, hardware deployment or technical operations.
• Willingness to handle physical setup tasks and support field deployment needs.
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Detail-oriented, eager to learn and solution-driven.
• Able to work independently and in a team.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware and software is a plus.
