Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Executive

About the role

The M&A Executive will support the Director in managing client engagements, coordinating meetings, and driving follow‑up actions. This role blends deal support, client relationship management, and marketing activities to enhance the firm’s presence in the mergers and acquisitions space.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, and document meetings with clients, investors and partners.
• Promptly follow up with clients after meetings to ensure smooth communication and progress tracking.
• Conduct preliminary market research, profile target companies and coordinate outreach for deal origination.
• Generate leads, attend networking events and create marketing collateral.
• Prepare presentations, investment teasers and other deal‑related materials.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to meet project milestones.
• Maintain client databases, contact lists and meeting records.
• Support marketing initiatives such as social media posts, website updates and corporate brochures.
• Provide administrative and analytical assistance for proposals, pitch decks and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong understanding of M&A processes, deal documentation and client engagement workflows.
• Excellent communication, coordination and follow‑up abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, organised and proactive in managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to work independently while supporting senior management.
