Metals and Bulks Sales Analyst

About the role

Macquarie is hiring a Metals and Bulks Sales Analyst in Singapore for its Commodities and Global Markets group, within the Commodity Markets and Financing business. The team sells to global clients and handles commodity derivatives including LME base and precious metals, bulk commodities and China commodity futures. The role sits in the day-to-day running of the Hedge Fund and Asian Metals Corporate businesses.

Key responsibilities

• Sales execution of over-the-counter (OTC) and listed commodity derivatives
• Act as the first contact for the global investor client base
• Lead ISDA negotiations and client onboarding
• Support senior colleagues in structuring and originating OTC transactions
• Analyse client exposures and prepare presentations, market commentary and analysis

Required profile

• 2 years of front office experience in Financial Markets, preferably in Commodities
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field
• Licensing such as FRMP or CMFAS Module 2A/6A is an advantage
• Mandarin is an advantage

Required skills

• Highly numerate with strong Excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written English communication
