MICE Sales Manager / Assistant Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Manager or Assistant Manager to lead sales growth within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) segment. You will be responsible for driving revenue through strategic partnerships with attractions, hotels, and event organizers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to maximise revenue from MICE partnerships.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate accounts and MICE organisers.
• Identify new business opportunities, generate leads and convert them into sales.
• Conduct market research to spot emerging trends, competitor activity and growth opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance, track KPIs and produce regular reports for management.
• Lead contract negotiations, manage agreements and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Plan and attend scheduled meetings with clients, partners and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma with strong commercial acumen.
• 2‑3 years of sales or commercial experience.
• Knowledge of the MICE or tourism industry is an advantage.
• IT‑savvy and digitally versatile with interest in evolving consumer buying behaviours.
• Team player able to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly numerate, adaptable and goal‑driven.
• Willingness to travel as required.
