About the role

The Military Medical Expert (Underwater) saves lives during operations in high-pressure underwater environments and is indispensable to every naval mission. The role covers administering both preventive and curative medicine and training in hyperbaric medicine.

Required profile

Diploma in Nursing
Singapore citizen or Singapore PR intending to take up citizenship
Medically fit (PES B and above)
Normal colour perception

What we offer

Monthly starting salary of $3,490 (Diploma) for ME1 Trainee and $3,750 (Diploma) for ME1-1, with progression by rank; mid-careerists are paid according to years of relevant experience and educational qualifications
Additional monthly allowances: $500 for shipboard, $1,200 for submarine
Recruitment bonus of $30,000 (Diploma) upon joining, subject to additional terms
Career until age 60 on full CPF terms
Annual lump-sum flex benefit of $800 per year for up to 10 years of service and $1,000 per year after 10 years
