Murex BO System Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Murex Back Office System Analyst to join a leading Asian bank’s treasury division. The role involves supporting front‑to‑back integrated platforms across multiple countries, ensuring optimal use of Murex functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Act as subject‑matter expert for Back Office, guaranteeing full utilization of product capabilities.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Define system and data requirements, validate design from functional and technical perspectives.
• Perform technical analysis, solution design, configuration, and unit testing.
• Own end‑to‑end tasks in collaboration with Business Analysts and Testing teams.
• Create test plans, test cases, and execute system testing.
• Support user training through one‑on‑one sessions and preparation of training guides.
• Liaise with vendors to resolve bugs and issues.
• Ensure proper hand‑over of technical and functional changes to relevant teams.

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in the financial industry, specifically treasury products on Murex v3.
• Proven experience in business analysis and project implementation.
• Strong knowledge of trade event processing, confirmation, settlement, fixing, netting, SSI, OSP, and Swift.
• Deep understanding of validation, confirmation and payment concepts for treasury products.
