Network and System Engineer

About the role

The Network and System Engineer will design, implement, and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, covering servers, networks, firewalls and related security systems. You will support both internal operations and customer‑facing environments, ensuring high availability, security compliance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Install, migrate, configure, and administer servers, network devices and firewall systems.
• Apply OS updates, patches, security fixes and perform system hardening activities.
• Monitor and maintain network and security infrastructure to guarantee optimal performance.
• Administer enterprise network services, including TCP/IP, VPN, switches, routing and IDS/IPS.
• Analyse and resolve incidents across hardware, software, applications and security domains.
• Provide first‑ and second‑level support, coordinate with vendors and document incident reports.
• Execute standard operational and project‑related changes within approved windows.
• Support automation and scripting initiatives to improve efficiency.
• Maintain technical documentation and liaise with vendors for issue resolution.
• Participate in a 24 × 7 standby rotation and travel to customer sites across Singapore as required.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of server, network and security concepts.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to provide after‑hours support and occasional travel.
