Network Automation Engineer

About the role

Bitdeer is looking for a Network Automation Engineer to join its NetDevOps team. You will design and implement core modules of a self‑service network automation platform that supports multi‑vendor devices across global data‑centers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build core modules that translate network requests into automated, ticket‑driven workflows.
• Develop low‑level drivers and API integrations for devices from NVIDIA, Arista, Cisco and others.
• Design and maintain a next‑generation observability stack using Prometheus, Grafana, streaming telemetry and related tools.
• Create and expose API interfaces for IP Address Management, enabling automated IP and VLAN allocation.
• Integrate DCIM and CMDB systems to provide a real‑time source of truth for physical and logical assets.
• Implement bulk configuration deployment, change management workflows, and automated backup with diff comparison and version control.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in NetDevOps or network automation development.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecoms or a related field.
• Strong understanding of BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, EVPN and Spine‑Leaf topologies.
• Proficiency in Python and hands‑on experience with Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM or Nornir in production.
• Experience building monitoring stacks (Prometheus/Grafana, Zabbix, Telegraf) and working with IPAM/CMDB tools.
• Comfortable using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
