Network Engineer, GPUaaS

About the role

The Network Engineer, GPUaaS will provide operational support for GPU‑accelerated infrastructure, ensuring high‑performance networking for AI and GPU‑as‑a‑Service platforms. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and automated network solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational and technical network support for GPU infrastructure services, meeting defined SLAs and implementing preventive measures.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise network performance, introducing automation to detect and resolve issues.
• Design, develop, and operate high‑performance networking solutions for AI and GPUaaS platforms.
• Collaborate on network security initiatives and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare technical reports, outage analyses, and SLA documentation for management and customers.

Required profile

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, IT, Network Engineering or related field; relevant networking/Linux certifications are a plus.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong collaboration and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Effective verbal, written and presentation skills in English.

Required skills

• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, VLANs, subnetting.
• Advanced routing and overlay protocols: VXLAN, EVPN, BGP.
• Network operating systems/platforms: Cumulus, Arista, Ubuntu, Proxmox, Red Hat.
• Monitoring and automation tools: Zabbix, NetBox, Ansible, Python scripting, CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux systems, hypervisors, storage technologies (NFS, object storage) and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
• Understanding of AI/HPC workloads, GPU‑accelerated networking, cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS) and NVIDIA GPU platforms.
