Network Reliability Staff Engineer

About the role

You will be part of the dynamic team responsible for building resilient network infrastructure using cutting‑edge technologies such as cloud‑based and software‑defined networking (e.g., SD‑WAN, ACI and NSX). The role requires a solid understanding of IT infrastructure systems and the latest networking platforms, and you will act as a technical specialist eager to tackle new challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and modernise complex network infrastructure to achieve optimal performance, ensuring scalable, sustainable and secure operations.
• Define architectural standards, reference models and guidelines that enhance security, resiliency and scalability.
• Drive actionable insights with telemetry data to meet service‑level agreements.
• Identify emerging network technologies to meet future needs, staying abreast of industry trends.
• Provide network consultation to project teams, collaborating with stakeholders to resolve complex technical problems and optimise performance.

Required profile

• Background in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience in network design, implementation or operations.
• Strong knowledge of complex campus and data‑centre network environments with emphasis on observability for site‑reliability engineering.
• Experience with Git, Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms and automation at scale using scripting languages such as Ansible, Python or PowerShell.
• Deep expertise in networking, storage networking and software‑defined networking, with awareness of emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication, system thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Technical leadership experience, including mentoring and coaching.
• Motivated team player.
