New Media Officer – Public Affairs

About the role

The New Media Officer will support the Singapore Police Force’s Public Affairs Department by developing and executing social‑media strategies that build a credible online presence and raise public awareness on safety and security.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SPF’s official social‑media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) with timely, accurate, and engaging updates.
• Curate and create compelling content to reach diverse audiences.
• Monitor and analyse post performance, providing data‑driven insights to improve reach and engagement.
• Track digital trends and recommend enhancements to strengthen online presence.

Required profile

• Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient in English and at least one other Singapore official language.
• Minimum two years of experience creating and curating social‑media content.
• Independent, adaptable, meticulous and a strong team player.

Required skills

• Social‑media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
• Design and editing tools: Adobe suite, CapCut.
• Data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
• Basic event and studio photography (optional).
