News Editorial Intern (Originals) - CNBC International

About the role

The News Editorial Intern supports the portfolio of mid- and long-form shows, video podcasts and events produced by CNBC International's Originals team. The intern gains hands-on experience across the full production workflow, from pre-production planning to post-production editing, while helping with research, transcription and creating supporting assets for digital platforms and social media. The internship runs from January to June 2027 and suits university undergraduates interested in TV news production or journalism.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify C-suite profiles for interviews
• Assist with planning and preparation for filming, and provide on-site support during on-the-field filming
• Transcribe interviews, shortlist suitable footage, source videos and build elements for editing in post-production
• Pitch ideas on digital elements for the show
• Produce social media assets to promote the shows

Required profile

• University undergraduate majoring in business, economics, mass communication, media production or a similar field
• Legal right to work in Singapore; only candidates eligible to work there will be considered
• Available for a full-time internship from January to June
• Strong interest in business and financial news TV production
• Fluency in English, essential for transcribing interviews
