NPI Lead

About the role

Secretlab is looking for a strong leader to head its New Product Introduction (NPI) team. You will own end‑to‑end product launches, working closely with design, engineering, operations and manufacturing to deliver high‑quality, cost‑effective products at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full NPI lifecycle from design collaboration through pilot builds to full‑scale production.
• Partner with Design, Engineering, Supply Chain and Quality to optimise manufacturability, cost and quality.
• Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Excellence (DfX) frameworks to improve production outcomes.
• Identify, source and assess new technologies and processes to meet project needs.
• Review mechanical designs, drawings and tolerances for manufacturing feasibility.
• Manage project risks and opportunities, ensuring milestones (EVT, DVT, PVT) are met.
• Build and continuously improve NPI processes, playbooks and review structures.
• Mentor and grow a core team of NPI engineers, including future hiring responsibilities.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align launch priorities and readiness criteria.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in product industrialisation or NPI, preferably in hardware or consumer electronics.
• At least 5 years of experience managing NPI projects or teams.
