Nurse Manager (Home Care)

About the role

The Nurse Manager (Home Care) leads the delivery of high‑quality, community‑based nursing services. This role oversees program operations, ensures compliance with clinical standards, and drives continuous improvement to enhance client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage program operations, planning, work systems, procedures and staff training.
• Evaluate service standards, monitor performance data, and implement quality‑improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute multi‑dimensional care integration strategies to improve cost‑effectiveness.
• Build relationships with community care networks and influence local and national health policies.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of evidence‑based nursing guidelines within the clinical governance framework.
• Identify high‑potential staff, provide mentorship, and sustain a talent pool for succession planning.
• Coach and develop staff, manage onboarding, and coordinate crisis‑intervention and emergency procedures.
• Plan and implement strategies for managing health threats and perform ad‑hoc duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; specialist diploma in Gerontology or advanced diploma preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of clinical experience with relevant experience as a Nurse Manager.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• Ability to speak local dialects is an advantage.
