Occupational Therapist – Senior Care

About the role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a well‑established care organisation in Singapore. The role focuses on supporting seniors’ independence, daily functioning and overall quality of life within a person‑centred, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess seniors’ physical, cognitive, psychosocial and functional needs and develop tailored OT care plans.
• Deliver occupational therapy interventions that promote independence and daily living skills.
• Monitor progress, adjust care plans and collaborate with nursing, medical and therapy staff.
• Guide care staff in the consistent delivery of OT‑related activities.
• Support rehabilitation workflows, clinical protocols, documentation standards and service‑quality initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, interventions and resident progress.
• Engage residents and families sensitively during care planning and progress reviews.
• Provide training for care staff and healthcare professionals as required.

Required profile

• Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Registered with the relevant healthcare regulatory body in Singapore.
• Minimum 3 years of OT experience, preferably in elder‑care, community care, rehabilitation or long‑term care settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and intervention skills for seniors with varied functional, cognitive and psychosocial needs.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and documentation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Adaptable to an evolving care environment.
