Office Team Manager - Order Management

About the role

The Office Team Manager leads the regional order management operations at Alfa Laval's APAC Distribution Centre, based at Gul Circle. The role ensures efficient order processing, timely delivery and strong service standards, overseeing the end-to-end order handling workflow, managing a high-performing team and working closely with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the office team (Order Support, Order Handling, Order Quote, Lead Buyer); manage performance, workload allocation and resource planning
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ALPS, accountability and customer focus
• Oversee the full lifecycle of customer orders from entry to fulfilment, ensuring accuracy in processing, delivery scheduling and system updates
• Resolve escalated order issues, delays, shortages or documentation gaps, and monitor service KPIs and SLAs
• Review and optimise order handling processes, identify service gaps and support audits, compliance checks and operational reporting
• Act as the main point of contact for order fulfilment escalations and communicate with customers on order status and service recovery
• Work with Supply Planning, Warehouse, Logistics, Sales and Finance teams
• Keep ERP and order management data accurate, drive digital initiatives and automation where applicable, and report on team performance and fulfilment metrics

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in order management, customer operations or supply chain
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) is an added advantage
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
