Operational Audit Auditor

About the role

KLA, a global leader in electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem, is looking for a high-performing, motivated audit professional to join its finance team in Singapore. The role suits someone with clear, critical thinking, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an interest in using data and AI to improve audit outcomes. You will work in a dynamic environment, with opportunities in both assurance and advisory work, and international travel is required.

Key responsibilities

• Perform risk-based audits and advisory engagements across financial and operational areas
• Carry out interviews, walkthroughs and control testing, documenting work clearly and efficiently
• Use data analytics and AI tools to identify trends, anomalies and risks
• Assess control effectiveness, identify gaps and root causes, and make independent recommendations on process optimization and automation
• Communicate findings through clear, concise reports and presentations

Required profile

• Background in internal audit, accounting, finance or a related field
• Working knowledge of audit methodologies, internal controls (SOX) and risk assessment frameworks
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and to communicate effectively with stakeholders
• Detail-oriented, with good judgment and a structured approach

Required skills

• Experience or exposure to data analytics tools and interest or experience with AI applications (e.g., Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT)
• Familiarity with digital risks such as cybersecurity, data governance and system controls is a plus
• Basic project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
