Operations Analyst (Securities Settlements & Stock Loan)

About the role

A leading global financial institution, active in investment banking, trading and asset management, is looking for an Operations Analyst to join its middle office team in Singapore. The role covers securities settlements and stock loan operations, giving exposure to equity markets and post-trade processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the timely settlement of securities transactions and ensure accurate trade processing
• Monitor and resolve settlement breaks and failed trades within strict market deadlines
• Liaise with brokers, custodians, agent banks and external counterparties
• Support trade matching, reconciliation and exception management
• Investigate operational issues and implement resolutions to minimise risk
• Produce regular operational and management reports
• Work with trading desks and internal stakeholders to support transaction processing and client service

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Stock Loan, Securities Settlements, Middle Office, Trade Support or Investment Banking Operations
• Strong understanding of equities products and post-trade processes
• Experience managing trade exceptions, reconciliations and settlement activities
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong attention to detail and a risk-control mindset
