Operations Executive – Facility Management

About the role

The Hospital is seeking an Operations Executive to oversee corporate policies, procedures and controls for its facility operations. Reporting to the Executive Director and Operations Manager, the role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant management of the nursing home premises.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain building systems, resolve issues, track equipment efficiency and warranties, and implement standard operating procedures.
• Act as Fire Safety Officer and/or Safety Officer, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and facility inspections across the hospital campus.
• Manage external vendors for supplies and services, monitoring contract compliance and statutory requirements.
• Liaise between internal departments and external contractors to ensure timely completion of property‑related tasks.
• Maintain records and databases for facility assets, maintenance history, and compliance documentation.
• Oversee operational technology systems, troubleshoot with IT teams, and implement enhancements.
• Assist with budget tracking, expense management, and audit support for property and facilities operations.
• Respond to staff inquiries and service requests, and provide secretariat support for meetings and reporting.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Building/Estates Management, Real Estate, Engineering, Hospitality or a related field.
• Fire Safety Manager (FSM) or Safety Officer (SO) certification and Company Emergency Response Team (CERT) certification are advantageous.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with the capacity to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
