Operations Executive – Port Call Planning (Singapore)

About the role

Inchcape Shipping Services is seeking an Operations Executive in Singapore to manage port call planning and execution, delivering professional services that meet or exceed ship masters’ expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Understand port call requirements and expectations of principals/ship masters.
• Execute port call turnarounds in the most cost‑effective and expeditious manner.
• Monitor and update stakeholders on port call progress, ensuring principals’ best interests are protected.
• Provide concise, timely communication including pre‑arrival, progress, and post‑call updates.
• Submit truthful statutory declarations to agencies such as ICA, MPA, Customs, NEA, and security authorities.

Required profile

• At least 1 year experience in ship agency services, oil/gas/offshore industry, or as an engine/deck cadet.
• GCE “O” Level with credit in English and Mathematics or a Diploma in Maritime Studies.
• Physical fitness for ship boarding at anchorages, container ports, petrochemical installations and shipyards.
• Willingness to work irregular hours and outside normal office time.
• Not affected by aquaphobia or acrophobia.
